CALCULATING CARBON FOOTPRINT IN THE TRANSPORT OF GOODS

Automation of the calculation of carbon footprint for every transport and unladen kilometres travelled enables analysis, reporting and making informed decisions.

Calculating CO2 emissions in transport is a very demanding task.
Each transport leaves a different carbon footprint and a great number of transports are done by carriers who are external service providers, making it virtually impossible to do manual carbon accounting or track the realisation of business sustainability goals. Consistent information and analytical tools of the Lognet Carbon Accounting software show the whole picture of generators of CO2 and only then is it possible to take informed action. Moreover, data and analyses can be transferred to ERP to complete an enterprise’s carbon accounting.

How much can technology help in savings in transport and storage? Lognet presented the importance of fast information flow and their impact on both visible and invisible expenses.
